Welcome to The Alchemy Studio – Beauty Lounge. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following terms and policies, designed to protect your experience, ensure clarity, and honour the integrity of our space and team.

The Alchemy Studio – Beauty Lounge is located at 7/667 Oxley Road, Corinda QLD 4075. Our ABN is 42412535870. For all enquiries, please email tess@thealchemystudio.au or call 0434 610 092.

Appointments can be made online, by phone, or in person. We kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking. Late cancellations may incur a fee. No-shows will be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule or adjust your appointment to fit the remaining time.

For large services such as colour transformations or beauty therapy packages, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking. Deposits are credited toward your final service amount.

We do not offer refunds for services. However, if you are not fully satisfied, please reach out to us within 7 days of your appointment. We’ll gladly offer a complimentary adjustment if deemed appropriate, to ensure you’re completely happy with your experience. Redo appointments must be scheduled within 10 days of the original service. Please note that we do not provide refunds for change of mind.

All prices listed are in AUD and include GST. Prices may vary based on your hair length, thickness, service complexity, or product use. You’ll receive a personalised quote during your in-salon consultation.

Your health and safety are important to us. Please inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to your appointment. While we use low-tox, cruelty-free products, we cannot guarantee zero risk of adverse reactions and are not liable for effects arising from undisclosed conditions or sensitivities.

Children are welcome with supervision, but due to safety regulations and the tranquil nature of our space, we kindly ask that children and additional guests only attend if necessary. The Alchemy Studio is designed to be a sanctuary for all who visit.

For beauty therapy services such as waxing, tinting, or skin treatments, we rely on accurate health information to ensure safe and effective care. We may decline to proceed with a service if there are contraindications, such as recent peels, certain medications, or infections. Aftercare advice will be provided, and we ask that clients follow it carefully for optimal results.

Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. They are non-refundable, not redeemable for cash, and must be presented at time of use. We do not replace lost or stolen vouchers, and usage terms will be outlined at purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone displaying abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior. The Alchemy Studio is a respectful, inclusive environment — discrimination or disrespect of any kind will not be tolerated.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected is used solely for communication, bookings, and professional service notes. Your information will never be sold or shared. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

We may request permission to take and share photos of your hair or beauty results on social media and our website for marketing purposes. You’re welcome to decline — just let us know at the start of your appointment.

All services are delivered with the highest professional care. However, The Alchemy Studio is not liable for outcomes resulting from undisclosed medical conditions, failure to follow aftercare, or use of incompatible products at home.

We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of our services will indicate your acceptance of the most current version.
